Judging by the amount of people walking the streets, this major Miami event was well attended. Attendance was high with more than 150,000 visitors. Attendance was definitely down compared to last year’s show. Plenty of locals attended the Miami events show but international visitors were scarce. Travel agencies booking the Miami events boat show indicated that business went down 30% as compared to last year. However, sales will not be as weak as once thought before the Miami event took place. It seems that there was some action in the smaller segment of the market and the super luxury yacht segment. Aside from that, everything else buyers could not resist the Miami events incredible deals offered.
