The Miami/Bahamas Goombay Festival is celebrating its 32nd anniversary on Saturday June 7, 2008. Although the festival is scheduled from June 4th thru 8th, 2008, the action will be taking place JUNE 7TH ONLY. Miami/Bahamas Goombay Festival will display over 300 vendors travel from near and far to share the experience by expressing their culture through arts/crafts, food, & music.
The festival takes place on Coconut Grove’s streets, so parking can be a little complicated. However, usually in Coconut Grove some buildings (throughout SW 27th street) provide temporal parking with fees that vary among $5 and $15. This Miami event will feature plenty of food and music.
Every year, thousands of visitors enjoy the sounds of the Royal Bahamian Police Marching Band as well as other entertainers, mostly musicians and street performers. Besides, on Grand Avenue there will be several exhibitions with different topics.
