Next tropical depression could form ‘at any time’

The National Hurricane Center said at 4:15 p.m. Sunday that the tropical disturbance that was near Puerto Rico is right on top of the island, ratcheting up winds of 30 to 35 mph and dropping lots of rain.

Ike eyes Florida; Hanna races toward Carolinas

Hurricane Ike weakens, but still dangerous

Florida keeps eye on Hurricane Hanna, Tropical Storm Ike
